2.3 million Without Power From A Rare Snow Storm



In an earlier news report we highlighted the very strange snow storm that is taking place in the northeast part of the United States.

 One Sgt James Bruce said this about the storm which has knocked out power to the region,


“You name it,” "There's a problem".

here's lots of wires down, trees down, a lady locked out, poles on fire,” Sgt. Bruce said.

 Flights have been cancelled in Philadelphia International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Customers from Maryland to New England were without power due to the storm early Saturday.

"This is absolutely a lot more snow than I expected to see today. I can't believe it's not even Halloween and it's snowing already," Carole Shepherd of Washington Township, N.J., mentioned after shoveling her driveway.

Snowfall is rare in New York for October, this is only the fourth time this has happened 135 years ago.
