On the 28th of October 2011th a 6.9 earthquake striked the coast of central Puru sending many in the city scattering for shelter after feeling the affects of the
2007 earthquake which was devastating for many who live in the cities (2007 7.9 CNN article here)
There have been a few after shocks ranging from 5.0 - 5.5 :
