Two Earthquakes Rattle China




2 medium sized earthquakes have hit China's Nortthwest and also the Southwest areas.

60 miles away from the city of Yining the maginitude 6.0 striked at 8:20 a.m, and the other smaller

quake measuring 5.5 hit the Sichuan and Gansu region at 6 a.m.


No damages or injuries have been reported at this time. One of the worst quakes that have happened recently is

the 7.9 quake in the Sichuan area on may 2008, the death toll reached 90,000 people.
